Lympha Press receives FDA clearance for Lympha Press Optimal, a new home care lymphedema treatment system based on the principles of manual lymph drainage.
Lympha Press USA announces release of Lympha Press Optimal, a new home care lymphedema treatment system based on the principles of manual lymph drainage.
The Optimal system also offers new modular garments for trunk and abdominal therapy.
The Optimal is based Mego Afek's highly acclaimed Lympha Press Plus system, which is in use now for over 10 years. In Europe, the Lympha Press Plus has become part of the standard lymphedema treatment protocol in leading manual lymph drainage clinics.
The Optimal system contains all the main elements of the Lympha Press Plus system, with an emphasis on ease of use in the home care environment. The Optimal also provides patients with torso, abdominal and groin therapy, with modularized torso garments.

Lympha Press Optimal has been cleared for sale by the USA Food and Drug Administration for the following indications:
Primary lymphedema (Milroy's disease; congenital lymphedema)
Secondary lymphedema, including post-mastectomy lymphedema
Venous disorders, including venous stasis ulcers, venous insufficiency and varicose veins
Dysfunction of the muscle pump
Post -traumatic edema
