It's fall conference time.  We have a busy show schedule this year. Please check this issue for dates and places. We look forward to seeing you at any of the meetings....or all of them!

Medtrade, Orlando, FL, October 2-4:  We will all be out in force at this major event.  Please feel free to drop by our booth No. 2551, or call Charlie if you would like to schedule an appointment.
 
Lymphedema Lighthouse, Atlanta, GA, October 5-7:  Deborah will be appearing in front of a (hopefully) friendly audience of manual lymph drainage therapists.  Drop by our table to give moral support (and possibly, resuscitation).
 
Wound Care Congress, Houston, TX, October 23-27:  This will be a wide-ranging meeting, encompassing all types of vascular wounds as well as lymphedema.  Fred and Deborah will be at booth no. 131. 
 
American Society of Lymphology, Kansas City, MO, November 25-28: This is shaping up to be a major event. Dr. Franz-Josef Schingale will be a main speaker, on the topic of genital and truncal lymphedema and his method of treatment using the Lympha Pants and Lympha Jacket. Other speakers include Dr. Stanley Rockson, Dr. Neil Pillar, and Dr. Waldermar Olszewski. A Consensus Document will be issued with the Society's recommendations for diagnosis and treatment.  This is an important show! Zvika and Deborah will be staffing the booth at stand 10-11.
Product News
 

 The Lympha Jacket is fast becoming one of our most popular products.  It is the only garment on the market that provides treatment for truncal, abdominal and chest wall edema.  It is also the therapists' choice for MLD type therapy of upper extremity lymphedema.

 
Based on feedback from our customers around the world, we have made some upgrades to this excellent product.  Changes you will notice:  We now have a new "long arm version" for patients who need to have their hands and fingers completely covered during treatment.  We also have changed the direction of the arm zipper, so the jacket can be opened to the wrist for more mobility.

New Product - Phlebo Press DVT
dvt sleevesPhlebo Press DVT is our system for prevention of deep vein thrombosis.  It is used in hospitals during and after surgery, until the patient is ambulatory or discharged.  In some cases home units are used.
 
The Phlebo Press DVT is unique in that it treats both the sole of the foot and the calf.  All other DVT devices treat only the calf or only the foot - we do both!  This provides exceptional enhancement of venous return (both volume and velocity), and is also comfortable for the patient. 
 
While this technology is new to the USA, it certainly is not new to us - we have been selling it in Europe and Japan for over five years!  We are delighted to make this product available to our dealers in the USA.  We invite you to see the system at our upcoming shows.

fredFred Levine is the newest  addition to the Lympha Press staff.  He is joining us as Director of Sales, and will be responsible for the western USA.  Fred's most recent position was Vice President of Sales at Trulife.
